I thought: "all the flowers that you planted Mama in the back yard, all died in the wind and rain."
- Toto's Africa: "I bless the rains down in Africa."
I thought: "I guess it rains down in Africa."
- Christmas carol Away In A Manger: "The cattle are lowing."
I thought: "The camels are lonely." (I sang it like that when I was young & my parents haven't let me live it down. XD)

Incidents like this really piss me off beyond words. People animals like that don't deserve children and should be hung, drawn and quartered in my opinion (perhaps capital punishment should be brought back for instances such as this...). What was the point in that poor child's life? :( And how on earth does it take 60 visits from social workers to finally discover what had been going on?!

Hai guyz, back from hols. :D *waves* Not feeling very refreshed however (from getting hardly any sleep and back to work tomorrow) but whatever. :P Did I miss much?

- I managed to get my forehead and shoulders sunburnt (again) on hols in Italy...*headdesk* Yeah, it was the middle of September and hitting about 25 degrees C in the daytime. O__O
- Heroes Season 3 starts up again this week - YAY! :D :D :D
- Pan's Labyrinth premiered on UK tv tonight and it was awesome, but was completely the opposite of what I thought it would have been, ie. bloody stuff, weird ghosty white dude/thing with eyes in his palms, the wee girl's scary stepdad etc. o__O
- And finally, I am kind of shocked/sad that Paul Newman has left us, one of the last few remaining Hollywood greats/legends, and from what I've read, a real gentleman. Found out this morning at an Italian train station after seeing someone reading an Italian newspaper which had his pic on it and was like "wtf?! Oh no..." :( :( :( So, honorary Paul Newman picspam time:

While watching the movie Red Eye earlier in my room, I got up to leave for a moment. One of my big toes got caught under the hem of my pyjamas and tripped me up sending me flying against the bedroom door, causing it to slam (and the rest of the family downstairs to hear it and know right away that I must have tripped).
The force of me falling against it has also caused the bottom hinges of the door to come apart from the frame... o.O
