BAFTAs

OMG how good do both Milo Ventimiglia & Adrian Pasdar look in suits?! In fact add James May, Richard Hammond, John Simm, Matthew McFadyen and Philip Glenister to that as well. ♥ *drools*

And shame on you BAFTA for robbing Life On Mars of an award and giving it to The Street instead. >:(

"The Street" with Lee Ingleby in it? Or something else? I thought that was a couple of years old. (And the most depressing thing ever.)

imdb says it was 2006. Has it come back for another season? Aren't BAFTAs yearly things like the Oscars? Did you ever watch it? I only watched it for L'ingle, but it was really pretty awful (though well done. Just - miserable. Why do they make things that nobody would want to watch? Is it an English thing?)

Nah, I never watched it - the trailers seemed to give it a miserable vibe lol! XD

You didn't miss anything. Lee Ingleby (who I like, you know) did a great acting job, but he played a despicable character who got what he deserved in the end, a shallow grave. I can't believe they brought the show back for a second series!!! Who wanted it??? Anyway, the acting was good and it was well made, but there were NO likable characters, and nothing enjoyable, ever. It was all death and scandal and extramarital affairs ruining families and broken hearted children and wife-beating and drugs and crime and hate and suicide and despair and suspicion and accusation and ugh! I never want to live on that street.

Oh, I see on imdb that it had a second season. Haha, there's only one description of an episode, but it makes me laugh, because it's like every episode has the worst thing that could happen. Like they have to devote an episode to every awful thing that you can imagine.

Demolition man Charlie is married with teenage children. When he has to spend some time away from home for his latest job, however,he struggles to resist the advance of a homosexual colleague. He decides to come clean about his encounter when he is attacked by homophobic thugs and has his wallet stolen.
