1. How did you hear about the shootings at Virginia Tech?
I think it was ohnotheydidnt that brought it to my attention.

2. Do you know anyone who was directly effected?
No, thank goodness.

3. Will you be observing a moment of silence at noon to honor those killed on Monday?
Hmmmm nope since I don't live in the US & it's past 12pm anyway, but don't get me wrong, I do think it's horrible that the whole thing occured.

4. How do you feel about NBC's decision to air portions of the shooter's manifesto?
I think they were right to show it because people will be wanting to know why the guy did it.

5. When you are hurting, do you have people to turn to?
Yes but I don't really turn to them; I tend to keep things to myself.

I was at school for my exam the day it happened, so I didn't find out until I got home and my sis asked me to put on CNN to see an update on "the shootings." I was confused and had no idea what she was talking about, so she explained. :(

2. Do you know anyone who was directly effected?
No, thank goodness. -- same. I'm very sad for all of those that were.

3. Will you be observing a moment of silence at noon to honor those killed on Monday?
Same, noon has passed already and I'm also not in the U.S.

4. How do you feel about NBC's decision to air portions of the shooter's manifesto?
I agree with you, but also I can understand why people would be upset. As someone said, it's almost like they were giving him exactly what he wanted. He must have been a very sick, sick person to have done what he did.

5. When you are hurting, do you have people to turn to?
Yes but I don't really turn to them; I tend to keep things to myself. -- same. Though if I really need to turn to someone it's usually my sis, best friends (esp. two of them) and mom.
