'Hotel Babylon' Season 3 & 'Sweeney Todd'

wee_mangoHotel Babylon will be back on our screens next week - YAY! And John Barrowman will be in it at some stage too. :D <333
Oh and before I forget,
- I was a little disappointed to be honest. :| I dunno why, perhaps it just didn't suck me in as much as I thought it should have done or maybe the songs didn't really appeal to me. *shrugs* I did like it but would give it a 7/10.
- The Anthony character was a little too creepy/stalker like for me so that put me off him a bit.
- If the actress who played Johanna did her own singing, she was brilliant; wouldn't be surprised if she gets a record deal. :D
- Alan Rickman was on fabulous form as the evil Judge Turpin (what was with the gold trousers though?! o,O) and he can fairly sing! :D His & Johnny's duet of Pretty Women was fab, but I was shocked when Todd stabbed him with the razor then slit his throat (which I thought was coming first lol) - ouch!!
- Didn't expect Sacha Baron Cohen's character to be half-killed with a teapot first either!
- The way Todd's victims landed on their heads (hard) on the basement floor after going down the chute. *winces*
- The jailer getting locked in the room with all the mad blonde females & meeting his end there... eek!!
- Mrs Lovett's death shocked the hell out of me. I had a feeling she'd be killed anyway (having watched the Ray Winstone BBC version 2 years ago), especially with one of those razors of his but when Todd threw her into the oven and slammed the door, I think my face was a bit like this ---> O__O Totally unexpected but quite ironic as well... ;)
- I didn't see the Lucy Barker/beggar woman twist coming at all, despite a friend telling me she & her fella seen it coming a mile off. Even when Todd rolled her body onto her back, I couldn't work out who she was meant to be until he brushed her hair off her face & then my brain screamed OMGITSTHE'DEAD'WIFE!!!
- Interesting ending, with the wee boy killing Todd in the same way he had done away with all his customers. Was it just me or did it seem that Todd knew his end was near and seem to lift his neck upwards??
