Help please?

Is it possible or is there anyway to have messages in your LJ inbox sent by friends only, ie. that other users cannot contact you via LJ messaging? I only ask as some idiot asshole douchebag (whom I don't know and have no idea how they found my journal since they aren't on any of the same communities as myself) literally just sent me a charming email to which I unfortunately cannot reply and do not want them emailing me again. :|

Ugh. That's one of the reasons I have PMs turned off. You can set your inbox to messages from friends only on the 'edit profile' page.
