My so-called life...

I went for an interview on Thursday for a shop that's been held up 3 times in the last few weeks. It took 45 minutes, all because I had to go through one of those booklets where they ask you questions like 'Describe a time where you...' blah blah blah. There must have been about 5 pages worth & the fact that the interviewer was doing this by himself didn't help; he was making notes of my answers which meant that I had to stop every now and then. *sighs* No offense to the place, but if you know you have someone to interview, doesn't it help to have someone else make note of your responses?? o___O My mum wasn't too pleased when I emerged 45mins later; she'd been sitting in the car outside in the cold all that time...-_-

The place rang me up earlier tonight; I didn't get the job, but I was hoping I wouldn't get it. I don't want to be working somewhere where they haven't seemed to bulk up on security!


Great to see Top Gear again. :D Very sneaky the way they made you wait until the end to see Richard's crash (which wasn't as scary as I has anticipated but still made me go O_O when the front tyre burst) so they wouldn't lose viewers to CBB hahahahah! The road works bit was hilarious; I love how they manage to screw stuff up - it's adorable!! Fave bits include:

[x] Jeremy's 'inspiring' speeches.

[x] James throwing his builder's hat at Jeremy.

[x] James throwing Jezza's speaker thing in the path of an on-coming mini steam roller lmao!

[x] Richard giving that embarrassed glance to the camera in the local chip shop when he realises that his massive order of 75 fish n' chip suppers are causing a rather long queue!!

[x] Jezza having to keep pulling his fluorescent trousers up.

[x] James chasing after the road paint box on wheels (you know the things that people paint the lines on the road with) and Jezza literally lying on the road laughing his ass off. XD ♥

I've been doing quite a bit of job hunting recently, mainly all due to the fact that my mum has this thing where everytime she's out, she goes looking for places who are advertising for vacancies. I've been to more job interviews in the past few months than I can remember! I've lost count! O_O

Anyhoo, it's ironic that I went to an interview earlier for a chemists' and about an hour later, Dunnes Stores rings me up saying would I still be interested in a temporary Christmas job (I went to an interview for them over a month ago but they told me '...unfortunately on this occasion all positions have been filled' & that they'd hold on to my records for about 6 months). LOL! To be honest I wasn't totally happy when I said yes (I've no money whatsoever at the minute so practically had no other option) & feel so guilty when mum was all smiles saying "You've got a job!" and I was like meh.... -___- Why is it the places I'm really not keen on working in ask me?! Why? Well I suppose I can't really afford to be picky so it'll be nice to get a bit of money coming in again...though I really don't want to stay on after Christmas; don't want the same thing happening like what Wyse Byse did to me *mutters 'b*****ds'* I've to go to an induction night they're having on Thurs. Aggggh. *headdesk*


And oooh Vincent tonight! Bring. It. On. :D
