Brain. Yes you read that correctly, more specifically cow brain, and I tried it when I was in Romania almost 4 years ago. It tasted a bit like chicken to be honest. I think I would try it again. ;)

Wow! I personally wouldn't eat that, because I don't eat anything coming from a large animal. But that certainly does sound interesting.

I was there for only a few weeks and thought I should try a typical Romanian delicacy. :P Luckily I didn't order an entire plateful though. ;)

There was the octopus I had in Greece (which didn't taste bad but the consistency reminded me of those rubbery fake grapes :P and tongue of some animal (beef?) in Switzerland which wasn't bad but I doubt I'd have tried it if I'd known what it was. There's something a little disturbing about tasting something that could have tasted you. I guess I'm not that adventurous...
