- Wait, did Gene just whisper something to Bevan? Or...maybe he showed him something? If Gene is the ghost, he could have revealed the bloodied face which would explain why Bevan recoiled in horror - like he'd seen a ghost. If that's the case, him screaming 'get away from me!' at Alex could be because he'd seen the bullet hole in her head...:O

- Alex: (anxiously) "What did you say to him? What did you say?"
Gene: "I told him the truth. That City are going to cane United next season."
(He walks off)

- Litton: "Right, well... I will say goodbye."
Gene: "Oh, no, you don't. Not yet. (hands him a glass of scotch) Not many of us left, Litton. The good old days."
