Movie extras....

A mate of mine emailed me yesterday to say that there's some place (known as the Titanic studios) on the outskirts of Belfast city centre doing 'auditions' for extras for a movie tomorrow afternoon between 2pm and 4pm. Apparently it's an epic feature film, set during World War 2 and the 1990s - mmmmm. I might just check it out...you never know! ;) At the minute you have to get your photo taken & give 'em your details...

Well, the thing is too, that if you're going to be an extra, you have to also be able to show that you can blend in. So, yeah, stand out -- but not TOO much.

But remember, more important than your looks is how they perceive you're going to work within their system. Being an extra (well, any film making, as a matter of fact) is a lot of "hurry up and wait," and they'll (hopefully) be looking for people with patience and a servant's heart.

Divas need not apply.
