A woman is driving through the Brecon Beacons late at night and comes across a body lying in the middle of the road. On further inspection, it's a dummy and as the woman goes back to car, a tyre has been deflated and her keys gone. Something reaches into the car and she screams as we go into the opening credits...

The team set up camp whilst playing the who-was-your-last-snog game, started by Gwen. Owen admits that she was his (as seen in Cyberwoman), causing different reactions from the other three. Ianto mentions Lisa and an awkward silence falls over the campers. He seems annoyed that the rest had forgotten about her...

Owen & Gwen go to fetch wood for the camp fire, however get distracted by each other and soon realise they're not alone...a male body stripped of its organs and flesh is lying under a cloth. Owen is unable to determine the cause of death because of this. The SUV suddenly takes off, smashing into the camp and drives off down the road - Owen left the keys in the vehicle & Jack thinks the body was a distraction.

The campers head to the nearest shelter; a pub/bar with several buildings. Ianto and Tosh head off to try and locate the SUV while Owen, Jack & Gwen explore the bar. Gwen discovers another body inside. Tosh & Ianto explore a farmhouse building a few miles away from the others but Tosh disappears and Ianto gets scared.

On trying another building by breaking through the door, Gwen is shot by a terrified survivor (Keiran) who has barricaded himself in. Jack carries her in onto the table and Owen is able to remove some shrapnel from her wound but tells her she was lucky. Ianto and Tosh find themselves stuck in some sort of basement with no way out and a collection of shoes and body parts in the fridge, explaining why the bodies had no flesh left on them...

Back at the pub, the other three plus Keiran have barricaded themselves in and Gwen attempts to piece together what information they have - whatever's doing this isn't human. Something tries to get in from outside and Keiran is pulled through the cellar.

Tosh & Ianto are found by Helen Sherman with a shotgun, claiming she is a nurse. She tells them she's only there to take them to the 'killers' and that every 10 years, a 'harvest' takes place. In the cellar of the pub, Jack discovers human organs stored in jars and the man who attempted to break into the pub. Jack will only help the man if he explains what's going on but is soon forced to torture the man into giving him information.

On the road, Gwen & Owen stumble across a policeman out on a constabulary report. Ianto & Tosh offer to help Helen if she helps them and are forced into a room where the remains of bodies are hanging...the lair of a family of cannibals. Ianto headbutts Evan Sherman, Helen's husband, leaving Tosh to escape but she doesn't get very far into the nearby woods. The man tries to stangle Tosh but Owen puts a gun to his head. Gwen orders the policeman to arrest him but the tables are turned as they are uncle and nephew. Both Owen & Gwen are forced to give up their guns.

Owen, Tosh & Gwen join Ianto in the cannibals' hideout but just when it looks as they're all about to become food, Jack smashes through the wall with a tractor and takes the villagers out. Gwen begs him for an hour with Sherman to find out why they did it, receiving "Because it made me happy" as an explanation.

Back in Cardiff, Gwen shares her frustrations with Owen about not being to talk about Torchwood with anyone else, who steps up behind and shares a kiss with her...

- Loved the whole feel to this episode; was literally hiding behind my hands especially at the bit when Tosh disappears and that noise which Ianto claims was a fox!! O_O Thought it was very 28 Days Later/Scream (near the beginning when the door locks pop up like in the first movie when Sidney's in the police car and the killer happens to have the keys)/Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the whole family/village being in on the whole harvest thing).

- Appropriate song in the beginning! ;) *sings* "What's that coming over the hill? Is it a monster? Is it a monster?"

- Jack's amused look as Owen admits Gwen was his last kiss and Gwen shooting him daggers. ;)

- Jack: (on asked who his last kiss was) "Are we including non-human lifeforms?"

- The awkward silence between Jack & Ianto...♥

- Owen/Gwen nearly doing a Lady Chatterley/Mellors against the tree...O.O

- Owen: (talking to the body inside the bar) "Whatever they were, I hope you put up a good fight..." :(

Jack's little glance as Owen goes to help Gwen get back on her feet... ;)

- Ianto grinning and then suddenly headbutting Evan Sherman.

- Owen: (to Sherman) "You're in no position to negociate mate..."

- Owen: (on finding out about the cannibal family) "Only in the bl**dy countryside, you sick f**kers!"

- I reckon the team are going to owe Jack big time after this for saving their asses! XD

- Owen stepping from the shadows and sharing that kiss with Gwen OMG!! O_O ♥ I totally didn't see that coming; I'm a Jack/Gwen fan but Gwen/Owen is nice. :D
